Where we get personal information from

Personal information is collected directly from you.

How long we keep information

  • Free Subscribers: We retain your email address and name for as long as you remain an active subscriber. If you unsubscribe, your data will be deleted or anonymised within 6 months, unless you specifically request immediate deletion.
  • Paid Subscribers (Financial Records): We are legally required by HMRC to retain financial transaction records—which may include your name and contact details—for a period of 6 years following the end of the tax year in which the transaction occurred.
  • Inactive Subscribers: To ensure our list remains accurate, we periodically remove subscribers who have not opened an email for 12 months.

Who we share information with (Data Processors)

  • Beehiiv Inc. (USA): They provide the technical platform used to manage our subscriber list, deliver our weekly newsletter via email, and host our website. They also provide analytics to help us understand reader engagement and manage billing for premium tiers.
  • Stripe, Inc. (USA/Ireland): They securely process subscription and course payments and handle financial transaction data on our behalf.
  • Teachery Inc. (USA): They host our online courses and manage the delivery of educational content to customers who have purchased access to our workspace training.
  • Google Cloud EMEA Ltd They provide our core business infrastructure, including Gmail for secure email communications, Google Drive for document storage, and Google Docs for content creation. This ensures that all internal business operations and client communications are hosted on a secure, cloud-based platform.

Sharing information outside the UK

Where necessary, we will transfer personal information outside of the UK. When doing so, we comply with the UK GDPR, making sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
