It’s a quick and easy one this week! Google Docs recently launched a bunch of modern templates (everything from 1:1s to project proposals). Here’s how to get them:

  1. Go to docs.new to create a new document

  2. Click ‘File > New > From a template’

  3. Click on one to preview it

  4. Check the preview (including the different tabs on the top left)

  5. Click ‘Insert’

Bonus: Use your own styles

If you followed my previous tip to setup document styles, you can quickly use those with the template you choose. It’s simple:

  1. Click on the styles dropdown

  2. Go to ‘Options > Use my default styles’

See you next Workspace Wednesday!
