You may already be aware that Google Calendar’s own feature allows you to create a page for appointment bookings, and even take payment.
However, you may not have noticed there’s an even quicker way to offer times to meet, directly in an email, without any prior setup. No more email ping pong to offer, book and confirm appointments!
How to offer meeting times in Gmail
There are just two steps to do this, with a couple of optional edits:
Compose a new email
Click the ‘Help me schedule’ icon at the bottom
[Optional] Mouse over the box and choose settings of your choice
Length of meeting
Time selection (today, tomorrow, this week, next week)
Change to text format (if you prefer things lo-fi)

[Optional] Click the pencil icon to manually select some slots
This will also allow you to select the guest’s timezone to make sure the slots are suitable for both of you

When the guest chooses a slot, a calendar event is automatically created with a Google Meet link. So now you can stop switching between your email and calendar tabs to manually offer times in your message.
